Ankle sprains: Lateral ankle sprains are frequent due to sudden changes in direction.
Knee injuries: ACL and meniscus tears, although less common in younger age groups, can occur with traumatic events.
Muscle strains: Hamstring, quadriceps, and groin strains are prevalent due to overuse or inadequate warm-up.
Concussions: Head injuries resulting from collisions with other players, the ball, or the ground require immediate attention.
Growth plate injuries: Unique to young athletes, these injuries can occur at the ends of long bones and require specialized medical care.
